Technical Direction (UM2TDI051) – Goblin Model

Today I have completed the 3D model of the Goblin. I was unsure if I should start to model the character from scratch, or if I should start with a basic mesh and make it for our needs. I think that if I start making the rake from scratch, it will take a lot longer time. I decided to model it from the mesh I found online. I only have the weekend to do this. I found the model at: https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/male-character-3d-3ds/525186 it’s the low poly landlord.

I think that the important thing is that I changed the model so much that you can see I have done the work, and without doubt I have done a lot of work this weekend. I had a talk with Putle and he told me he would textured the character, I asked him if he also wanted to unwrap the character. He told me that he wanted to do that. I asked Hans what he would like to work with, so I’m hoping to get an answer back later today. Both Hans and Pule were placed on modeling character. And the tasks that is important to get done is:

Goblin    Modeling, unwrapping, texturing, skinning and rigging
Rat         Modeling, unwrapping, texturing, skinning and rigging

I have completed the modeling and I will send it to Putle for unwrapping and texturing.
